Job description
Overview
We are inviting applications for two fixed-term Clinical Fellow positions equivalent to ST1 level in Paediatrics and Neonatology. These full-time roles span 40 hours per week plus banding and will be based within the Neonatal Unit, Labour Ward, and Postnatal Wards at a hospital located in County Limerick, Ireland. The contract extends from August 5, 2026, to February 2, 2027.
Work Environment
NHS Tayside is recognized for a supportive and friendly setting committed to paediatric training and development. These six-month roles are designed to provide clinical supervision and encourage participation in portfolio activities, though they are not formal training posts. Successful candidates will contribute to a tier 1 rota covering neonatal care.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants must hold full General Medical Council (GMC) registration and possess a license to practice at the start of employment.
- Completion of a UK-based Foundation Programme or the demonstration of equivalent foundation competencies is required.
Those interested in working less than full time will be considered.
