Job description
About Moss
Moss is a Berlin-based SaaS scale-up built by a team of 300+ people representing 50+ nationalities across 5 offices in Europe. The company’s mission is to help SMBs across Europe manage spending in a fully digital, AI-led, and tightly integrated way. More than 5,000 businesses in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK already use Moss for spend management capabilities including corporate cards, accounts payable, employee cash reimbursements, and procurement. Moss has raised €180 million in total funding and is supported by investors such as Valar Ventures, Tiger Global, Global Founders Capital, Cherry Ventures, and A-Star.
The culture is described as impact-driven and fast-moving, with a strong focus on learning, growth, and building a career in an environment that values collaboration and momentum.
Role overview
This position is responsible for Moss’s top-of-funnel tooling landscape, including HubSpot, the Salesforce lead and campaign layer, and Attention. The current setup was created without extensive Salesforce specialization, so the first priority is to identify where routing and attribution are failing and then rebuild the stack into a stronger, more scalable system. The remit includes smarter lead routing, AI-supported workflows, and dynamic nurture logic.
The role sits within Commercial Systems and involves setting the roadmap for this domain in close partnership with Growth, BDR, and SDR teams, whose pipeline quality is directly affected by the decisions made in this role. You will also work closely with the Head of GTM Automation and report to the Director of Commercial Systems. The role is managed through weekly check-ins focused on cycle goals, and it does not include direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support the marketing automation platform, currently HubSpot, so campaign execution and email marketing continue to power Moss’s top-of-funnel motion.
- Build and maintain the systems that connect multi-channel lead flows from marketing, product, and sales into Salesforce, using tools such as Sweep, Calendly, and n8n to keep lead infrastructure aligned with BDR and SDR service-level expectations.
- Administer Salesforce Leads, Contacts, and campaign influence processes, while identifying and resolving gaps in the existing routing configuration.
- Work with Growth, BDR, SDR, and Partnerships teams to convert business needs into system enhancements, in coordination with the Head of GTM Automation team.
- Operate sales productivity tools such as Attention, including user onboarding and offboarding for commercial teams.
- Track system health, troubleshoot issues, and deliver fixes together with engineering partners.
- Serve as the internal and vendor-facing expert for top-of-funnel tooling, continuously testing improvements to keep the stack ahead of standard setups.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience running a marketing automation platform such as HubSpot and Salesforce, including lead routing and lifecycle management, in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.
- Hands-on exposure to AI productivity tools such as n8n and Attention.
- Strong English communication skills at native or C2 level.
- Bonus: experience with lead routing or lifecycle management tools such as LeanData, RingLead, or Chili Piper.
- Bonus: familiarity with APIs and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Ability to work through problems with business stakeholders before recommending a solution.
- Proven record of delivering measurable improvements rather than isolated wins.
- Comfort working in messy, undocumented systems and defining the target state without a fully specified brief.
- Willingness to experiment and validate new approaches to keep tooling ahead of market standards.
- Experience building AI-enabled workflows or tools in production, with clear evidence of practical business impact.
Perks and benefits
- Competitive compensation at the top end of the market, including equity.
- In-person office culture with weekly breakfasts and Friday demos that encourage collaboration and connection.
- 20 days of work-from-abroad allowance.
- Learning and development budget of 600 EUR/GBP.
- Other local benefits may also apply.
- Benefits are generally for full-time roles unless stated otherwise; interns and working students receive a tailored package.
