Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our Pressure Cooker Manufacturing Unit in Kundli, Haryana. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in fabricating, repairing, and maintaining press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds utilized in sheet metal production.
Responsibilities
- Produce, repair, and uphold the condition of press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and resolve tooling-related problems to reduce production interruptions.
- Interpret and follow engineering and technical drawings accurately.
- Carry out die assembly, adjustments, trial runs, and routine maintenance.
- Operate machinery such as lathes, milling machines, drilling, and surface grinders.
- Use precision measurement tools like Vernier calipers and micrometers to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to facilitate efficient manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules for tooling upkeep.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience as a Tool and Die Maker.
- Practical experience with press tool fabrication, die repairs, and tool maintenance.
- Sound understanding of sheet metal operations and stamping die technology.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical and technical blueprints.
- Experienced in working with surface grinding, lathe, and milling equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Preferred Background
Applicants with expertise in manufacturing environments related to pressure cookers, cookware, stainless steel utensils, sheet metal fabrication, press shops, or tool rooms are favored. Candidates living near Kundli, Sonipat, or similar nearby regions will be prioritized to ensure convenient commute. Immediate availability for joining will be advantageous.
