Laser Cutting Operator (Pressure Cooker Components)

Job Role Overview

We are seeking a proficient Laser Cutting Operator specialized in handling the precision cutting of pressure cooker lids and bottoms. This role demands consistent accuracy in producing perfect oval and circular cuts on sheet metal parts, ensuring superior finishing quality.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and prepare Fiber Laser Cutting equipment for daily manufacturing tasks.
• Execute high-precision laser cuts focused on pressure cooker lids and bottoms.
• Carry out precise oval-shaped cuts on pressure cooker bodies following technical drawings or CAD blueprints.
• Adjust machine settings such as laser power, speed, and gas pressure based on aluminum and stainless steel sheet thickness.
• Perform quality checks post-cutting to guarantee smooth finishes and dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct routine cleaning and minor upkeep of laser machinery to maintain optimal functionality.
• Ensure lids and bottoms meet exact alignment and dimension standards for induction and component fitting.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Educational background: ITI certification in Machinist or Sheet Metal Work, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in laser cutting, preferably in the utensils or kitchenware manufacturing sector.
• Basic understanding of CAD software and competence in operating machine control interfaces.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on measurement precision and quality oval finishing.
• Basic maintenance skills for laser cutting machines.
• Familiarity with measuring devices and adeptness in interpreting technical drawings.
• Knowledgeable in sheet metal cutting techniques.

Preferred Attributes

• Candidates residing near North Delhi and surrounding regions like Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Rohini, Burari, Kundli, Sonipat are highly preferred.
• Immediate availability to join the workforce is advantageous.
