Role Overview
TMZ seeks enthusiastic and driven college juniors or seniors passionate about celebrity and entertainment news to join its Fall 2026 Internship program. Interns will gain hands-on experience in news gathering, TV production, and digital content creation, collaborating directly with senior staff and participating in dedicated educational sessions. This is a valuable opportunity to develop skills within a premier entertainment news organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the assignment desk team to assist in various organizational tasks.
- Conduct research and help in sourcing newsworthy materials.
- Make approved calls to sources as part of information gathering.
- Engage in general news-gathering activities to support production.
Internship Details
- Program duration: October 2026 through December 2026.
- This is a paid internship with a wage of $18.42 per hour, depending on qualifications and location.
- Interns must be available for the entire duration and commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, arranged as two or more shifts of 10 hours each starting at 6:00 AM.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a college junior or senior at the time of the internship.
- Demonstrate relevant knowledge through academic focus, coursework, or previous related experience.
- Possess strong motivation and energy for working in a fast-paced news environment.
- Availability to work early morning shifts consistently.
