Job Description
TMZ stands as a premier source for celebrity and entertainment news. The Fall Internship Program targets passionate and motivated students interested in celebrity news. Interns gain comprehensive insight into newsgathering, TV production, and digital content creation. They play an active role in the production process, collaborate with senior staff, and attend dedicated speaker sessions designed for the program.
Role and Responsibilities
The Social Media Department Intern will collaborate with the social media team to produce original content for TMZ and its partner brands. Responsibilities include video editing, conducting research for social media materials, and supporting camera shoots. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere is essential.
Internship Details and Requirements
- The internship runs from October to December 2026.
- It is a paid position, offering $18.42 per hour, with the final pay depending on education, skills, experience, and location.
- Candidates must be juniors or seniors in college.
- Applicants must be available for the entire internship and able to commit to at least 20 hours weekly, typically in two or more 10-hour shifts starting at 6:00 AM.
- Demonstrated knowledge related to the field of study or relevant experiences is required.
