Role Overview
The Territory Sales Officer position entails expanding the presence and sales of premium tea and beverage solutions under the Hot Tea Shop brand across HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) and Corporate sectors within the assigned territory. The role involves client acquisition, distributor management, and meeting business growth goals following company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and growing the HORECA and corporate channels to increase Hot Tea Shop’s market share in hotels, cafes, restaurants, and offices.
- Identifying new customers and onboarding them while nurturing relationships with current clients to attain sales objectives.
- Assessing customer needs to propose appropriate product combinations that improve client satisfaction.
- Monitoring market and competitor trends to create and implement strategic plans consistent with brand growth goals.
- Maintaining extensive product knowledge to effectively present offerings and assist clients.
- Consistently achieving sales targets and KPIs defined by senior leadership.
- Delivering weekly sales activity and pipeline reports for performance tracking.
- Managing distributor activities ensuring adequate stock levels, accurate billing, inventory control, hygiene standards, and return on investment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Candidate must possess at least a full-time bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- A minimum of three years’ experience is preferred, ideally in tea, coffee, or related beverage sectors. Alternatively, 2 to 5 years of sales development experience, distributor management, and ROI analysis is acceptable.
- Excellent verbal communication, negotiation aptitude, and presentation capabilities are essential.
- Demonstrated success in reaching sales targets and growing revenue.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions for customers.
- Self-motivated, diligent, and capable of independent operation with a strong emphasis on sales performance.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
- Fluent in English and the local language of the area served.
- Professional demeanor, autonomous working style, and effective teamwork with influential interpersonal skills.
- Within budget constraints, organize promotional brand activities in consultation with supervisors.
