Role Overview
The Territory Manager for 2-Wheeler Loans is tasked with driving the sourcing and management of loan products through dealer networks and other existing channels. This position emphasizes cultivating a robust, quality loan portfolio while strictly adhering to internal policies and regulatory standards. The incumbent will lead teams, nurture key market relationships, and contribute actively to business growth within the bank's retail lending division.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate loan business by partnering with dealers and additional market channels.
- Expand customer base and maintain consistent loan disbursement volumes.
- Keep a high-quality loan portfolio by keeping delinquencies and rejections to a minimum.
- Oversee and direct channel partners ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Stay informed on retail loan products, operational procedures, and emerging market trends.
- Identify changing market conditions and formulate strategies to develop channels and acquire customers.
- Ensure all internal policies, processes, and regulatory compliance are adhered to diligently.
- Propose enhancements to sales workflows and credit policies to improve efficiency and customer experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide seamless service and optimize customer satisfaction.
- Enhance sourcing via strategic alliances and direct channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field; an MBA or PGDM is preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail lending, ideally with 2-wheeler loans or similar asset finance products.
- Deep understanding of retail lending products and credit operations.
- Strong proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated skills in sales management, channel development, and driving business growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical skills focused on portfolio quality and risk mitigation.
- Leadership capability to manage teams and coordinate among stakeholders.
- High integrity and a strong commitment to regulatory compliance.
