Job Summary

Player 15 Group is the sports and entertainment organization behind the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Valley Suns, and Mortgage Matchup Center. This opportunity is for an experienced and motivated Technology Services Assistant who will help prepare and run event and meeting technology across several Player 15 Group locations, including the arena, performance centers, and office spaces. The role provides practical exposure to professional audio, video, and IT systems while supporting events, meetings, and special projects in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technology support for events, meetings, and internal activities across multiple Player 15 Group venues and offices.
  • Install, operate, and dismantle event and meeting technology such as public address systems, microphones, and digital signage.
  • Carry out basic technical support work, including powering equipment on and off, checking connections, and helping move desks or workstations.
  • Assist with other technology-related tasks and initiatives as needed.
  • Act as the main contact for event or meeting technology support when full-time staff are unavailable.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Practical familiarity with portable PA systems.
  • Working knowledge of signal flow and general technology connections.
  • Comfort using a radio and coordinating with different departments.
  • Ability to operate broadcast equipment.
  • Experience recording, tracking, and updating tickets in a helpdesk platform.
  • Interest in learning IT and audio/visual fundamentals, including networking basics, device setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Dependable, detail-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a larger technology team.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Preferred background in audio/visual systems, meeting room technology, IT hardware setup, and broadcast-grade production equipment.
  • Prior experience supporting technology in event venues is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems.
