Technical Executive (Aeronautical ARVR) - School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering

About the Role

The Technical Executive position is within the School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. Role Overview and Duties

• Deliver technical support for ARVR projects and other laboratory activities within AeroHub, including consultancy project assistance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper attire standards among staff and students.
• Assist or conduct laboratory experiments for PET and CET courses.
• Maintain and verify that equipment and machinery are functioning safely and effectively.
• Plan and procure raw materials necessary for laboratory work or final year projects.
• Coordinate with Estates department for service requests related to lab facilities.
• Manage asset-related tasks such as write-offs, asset verification, and proper storage.
• Organize scheduled maintenance for machines and equipment.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Have 2 to 3 years of practical experience within a Mechanical Engineering environment; however, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience with programming, Unity, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as app and website development is advantageous.

Additional Information
