Role Overview
We seek passionate and energetic individuals to join our team in Exeter as Front of House (FoH) team members. This role involves delivering excellent customer experiences and representing our brand values through enthusiastic and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact and welcoming face for customers, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a cheerful and proactive attitude, always willing to exceed customer expectations.
- Greet customers in person and manage reservations and bookings efficiently.
- Stay well-informed of the full menu offerings to effectively promote dishes and maximize sales.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, hygiene protocols, and allergen management to keep guests safe.
- Complete all mandatory training related to safety and service standards.
- Proactively suggest upselling opportunities to boost sales and encourage repeat visits.
- Collaborate as a reliable team member, supporting colleagues to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with company news and initiatives by engaging with internal communications and meetings.
- Contribute to maintaining the restaurant's profitability through attentive service and operational awareness.
- Commit to creating a safe environment for both guests and team members.
- Carry out cleaning duties promptly as specified in operational guidelines.
Candidate Profile
- A passion for food and dedication to outstanding customer service.
- Previous experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- A positive, enthusiastic approach with a readiness to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to handle challenges proactively with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Employment Details
- Position: Full Time, Onsite at Exeter.
- Contracted Hours: 8 hours per shift.
- Hourly Wage: £12.71.
