Team Leader – Mortgage Advisor

Role Overview

This position serves as a leadership role responsible for managing and directing a team of mortgage advisors, including senior members, aiming to meet both individual and collective targets. The role requires oversight of daily team operations, delivering training and guidance, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations, and driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

The Team Leader will work in collaboration with senior management to execute strategic plans, improve client service quality, and elevate the mortgage advisory team's effectiveness. Additionally, the role demands sourcing new business opportunities and bearing accountability for personal and team sales goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a closely related discipline is mandatory.
• A minimum of five years’ expertise in mortgage advisory, demonstrating strong experience in sales and client relationship management.
• At least two years of leadership experience overseeing teams within the mortgage or financial services sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage products, lending laws, and financial market dynamics.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities with competence to motivate and lead a team effectively.
• Proven track record of managing and achieving sales targets alongside maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to perform under challenging conditions.
