About the role
An established educational provider with nearly 30 years of experience in training professionals for social and care-related occupations is looking to fill a teaching position at its specialist school centre in Halberstadt. The role is for an English subject teacher at a vocational school.
Responsibilities
- Deliver English lessons to students.
- Prepare and follow up on classes independently.
- Assess student performance in line with the applicable performance assessment regulations.
- Take on class teacher duties.
- Contribute actively to the everyday life and development of the school.
- Support students during practical training phases at external practice sites.
- Help further develop the learning-field concept within the Social Pedagogy / Early Childhood Education programme.
Requirements
- Completed Master’s, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or teaching qualification for grammar schools and upper secondary level in English or English studies.
- Willingness to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Commitment, resilience, and flexibility.
