Tax Accountant - Tagalog Speaking

Job Summary

We are hiring a meticulous Tax Accountant for our Dubai, UAE office. The role calls for practical UAE tax experience, especially in VAT compliance, tax return preparation, filing tasks, and day-to-day accounting support in a busy finance environment.

Compensation

Salary can go up to AED 6,000 per month, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge VAT returns in line with UAE tax rules.
• Submit tax documents accurately and within the required timelines.
• Keep supporting records organized for audits, reviews, and FTA-related checks.
• Match tax balances and investigate any inconsistencies.
• Assist with Corporate Tax calculations and reporting duties.
• Work with internal teams, auditors, and tax advisors as needed.
• Track changes in UAE tax legislation and help maintain compliance.
• Provide support for general accounting tasks when required.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related subject.
• Between 2 and 4 years of UAE experience in tax or VAT accounting.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT rules and FTA procedures.
• Practical experience with VAT filing and account reconciliations.
• Exposure to ERP or other accounting software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical ability and careful attention to detail.
• Effective English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using the FTA portal.
• Working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax.
• Professional tax or accounting certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or VAT Certification are a plus.
• Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.

Additional Information

This position is intended for junior to mid-level Tax Accountants. Applicants should bring hands-on UAE tax experience rather than only supervisory or management-level exposure.
