Talent Sourcer (Contract) – Data Center Recruiting (North America)

About the Team

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is rapidly expanding its Data Center presence across North America to support cloud customers and strategic projects. To accommodate the growing hiring demands, the Data Center Sourcing Engine (DCSE) was established—a focused sourcing group dedicated to maintaining a continuous pipeline of highly skilled Data Center professionals.

The DCSE acts as the initial stage in Oracle's recruitment process by proactively sourcing, engaging, and assessing top talent before vacancies officially open. This approach supports swift recruitment to meet the significant volume and urgency of Oracle’s Data Center growth initiatives.

The team comprises Talent Sourcers at various career levels, selected based on experience, sourcing skills, and influence on hiring success. Each Talent Sourcer will be essential in helping Oracle attract top Data Center candidates and expedite recruitment for one of the largest cloud infrastructure expansions in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with present and future Data Center staffing requirements.
• Identify and approach passive candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems, referrals, networking, market insights, and Boolean search strategies.
• Build and sustain a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates anticipating hiring needs.
• Conduct preliminary phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, technical expertise, interests, and suitability.
• Provide detailed candidate assessments and recommendations to Recruiters and Hiring Managers.
• Collaborate intimately with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders to grasp hiring priorities, workforce planning, and evolving talent demands.
• Offer market intelligence and competitive insights to enhance hiring strategies.
• Develop talent pipelines for various roles including Data Center Technicians, Critical Facilities Engineers, Operations Managers, Commissioning Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Construction and Capacity Planners, Network Infrastructure Specialists, and other crucial Data Center roles.
• Monitor sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and recruitment metrics to improve effectiveness continuously.
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience while representing Oracle’s employer brand.
• Share sourcing best practices and contribute to ongoing process improvements within DCSE.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or acquisition, preferably in technical or high-volume hiring environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and job requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.
• Capacity to work independently with sound judgment and minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with relationship-building capabilities and influencing skills with candidates and hiring partners.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, ATS/CRM systems, and other sourcing tools to engage passive candidates.
• Demonstrated competency in building talent pipelines, conducting candidate prescreens, and ensuring a quality candidate experience.

• Preferred: Experience sourcing for Data Center, Critical Facilities, Cloud Infrastructure, Mission Critical Operations, Construction, Engineering roles, or related sectors.
• Knowledge of Data Center operations and talent markets related to roles such as Technicians, Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Construction, Network Infrastructure, and Operations.
• Experience in supporting large-scale infrastructure growth and rapid recruitment efforts.
• Advanced skills with LinkedIn Recruiter, talent market mapping, competitive intelligence, and candidate engagement strategies.
• Experience collaborating with multiple recruiters and hiring managers across geographically distributed teams.
• Proven success in cultivating long-term talent communities for difficult-to-fill technical roles.
• Using recruitment analytics and market data to guide sourcing strategy and hiring outcomes.

Additional Information

Certain U.S.-based or client-facing positions may necessitate compliance with immunization, occupational health mandates, or drug testing.

Annual salary range in the U.S. is from 74100 to 148300 USD, with eligibility for bonus and equity. Oracle applies broad salary ranges to accommodate differences in skills, experience, market conditions, and roles.
