Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated talent technologist and user experience expert passionate about elevating employee and candidate interactions through technology, data, and innovation. This role principally leads the administration of Workday Learning and assists in optimizing Workday Recruiting, contributing to the evolution of a skills-centric, AI-prepared workforce.
Reporting to the Director of Talent, this position collaborates across People & Culture teams and business leaders to enhance talent technology usage, nurture workforce readiness, and drive exceptional operational standards. Responsibilities span system administration, analytics, process innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies, all to transform how talent is attracted, developed, and retained.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the chief functional lead for Workday Learning and support the administration and enhancement of Workday Recruiting.
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate needs into scalable strategies, streamlined processes, and workflows that boost efficiency, uniformity, and user satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvements in talent system experiences for employees, learners, recruiters, and hiring managers through platform enhancements, process redesign, system configurations, reporting improvements, communications, and workflow optimizations, partnering with IT as needed.
- Ensure accurate and consistent talent data by maintaining sound business processes, documentation, governance, and adoption strategies.
- Develop and nurture a learner-focused environment that helps employees develop skills aligned with evolving business requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to curate and uphold learning pathways, curricula, career development frameworks, and initiatives to prepare the workforce.
- Manage learning content, paths, certifications, and curricula in Workday Learning for effective program execution, enhanced learner experience, and compliance tracking.
- Track engagement metrics, completion rates, and adoption levels to recommend enhancements.
- Assess learning outcomes and recommend improvements that positively impact business results.
- Support recruiting operations within Workday, facilitating efficient hiring workflows including requisition management, job postings, candidate handling, and interview coordination.
- Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and People & Culture professionals to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Maintain the integrity of recruiting data and implement process improvements for better hiring effectiveness and efficiency.
- Monitor and report on vital recruiting KPIs like Time-to-Fill, Time-to-Hire, Source Effectiveness, Internal Referrals, Agency Utilization, and Candidate Response Time.
- Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytics within Workday to monitor learning, recruiting, and workforce data trends.
- Deliver insights to inform talent strategies and decisions.
- Work with stakeholders to establish meaningful metrics that evaluate organizational effectiveness and workforce preparedness.
- Collaborate with Talent, Hiring Leaders, and IT to optimize AI-driven solutions augmenting learning, recruiting, and operational workflows.
- Stay updated on emerging capabilities within Workday and related technologies, proposing enhancements for employee and candidate experiences.
- Champion adoption of technologies that increase productivity, talent readiness, and outcomes.
- Contribute to cultivating an AI-ready workforce, empowering employees to leverage technology in accelerating learning and performance.
Position Details
- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Travel Requirement: Approximately 10%
- Bonus Opportunity: Up to 10% of salary

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience supporting Talent Development, Learning & Development, Talent Operations, Recruiting Operations, or HR Technology functions.
- At least 3 years of practical experience administering Workday Learning.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Workday Recruiting.
- Competence in developing reports, dashboards, and analytics to aid business decisions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and project management proficiency.
- Background in platform optimization, process improvements, reporting, and maintaining data quality.
- Capability to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of evaluating learning effectiveness utilizing Kirkpatrick or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of instructional design and adult learning methods.
- Experience with skills-based talent development and workforce planning initiatives.
- Familiarity using AI tools to enhance learning, recruiting, reporting, or workflows.
- A mindset of curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous enhancement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $94,340 to $104,940 annually.
