A partner company is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the United Arab Emirates to help drive international recruitment efforts. The role is centered on finding, engaging, and hiring independent contractors, especially linguists, to meet varied language and business needs across regions.

This opportunity involves handling the recruitment process end to end, from initial sourcing and assessment through onboarding. It suits someone who is structured, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-volume hiring environment with candidates spread across multiple countries and time zones.

Key accountabilities

  • Identify, attract, and recruit independent contractors from different regions according to specific language and business requirements.
  • Create and implement sourcing approaches that keep a steady flow of strong candidates in the pipeline.
  • Interview applicants and evaluate language capability, background, and overall fit for the role.
  • Oversee the full hiring journey, starting with sourcing and screening and continuing through onboarding.
  • Support large-scale hiring efforts while keeping standards high throughout the process.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand staffing needs, role expectations, and hiring priorities.
  • Carry out market research and stay connected with prospective candidates to strengthen future talent pools.
  • Provide a smooth, respectful, and professional candidate experience at every stage of recruitment.
  • Monitor hiring activity and review recruitment metrics to assess how effective sourcing efforts are.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months and up to 1 year of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related function.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to manage hiring processes independently while balancing several priorities.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational habits and strong time-management capability.
  • Comfort working on your own, meeting deadlines, and keeping tasks on track.
  • Willingness to work across different time zones when needed.
  • Experience recruiting freelancers, independent contractors, or international talent is an added advantage.
