About Mejuri

Since its founding in 2015 by third-generation jeweller Noura Sakkijha, Mejuri has transformed fine jewelry from a traditional gift into a modern form of self-expression. The brand encourages celebrating personal style, life, and everyday moments without the need for special occasions or guilt. Offering products online, through an app, and in over 58 global retail stores, Mejuri emphasizes responsible sourcing, sustainability, and philanthropic initiatives aligned with its core values.

Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist focusing on Retail, you will take full responsibility for the recruitment lifecycle for store positions across Mejuri's global markets including the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Collaborating closely with Retail leadership, you will strategize and implement recruitment plans, build talent pipelines, manage your performance metrics, and offer expert advice on talent acquisition processes, market trends, and insights. This role requires working primarily in the Western Region time zone (PST).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end hiring for store roles, including leadership and full staffing for new store openings.
  • Create targeted recruitment strategies to maintain robust candidate pipelines, especially in challenging markets.
  • Screen candidates using structured interview guides to uphold high standards before forwarding them to hiring managers.
  • Identify and resolve recruitment obstacles in partnership with field teams and colleagues.
  • Provide weekly recruitment updates and market intelligence reports.
  • Coach hiring managers on recruitment procedures and facilitate interview training for field staff.
  • Collaborate with Retail Leaders and HR business partners to anticipate talent needs and share recruitment insights.
  • Utilize data analytics to enhance recruitment operations and support organizational growth.
  • Design and maintain recruitment processes within the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse), ensuring accurate tracking and adoption of automation and AI innovations.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience managing the full recruitment cycle in high-volume, recurring roles.
  • Strong expertise using Boolean search methods across platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed; AI sourcing experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Highly organized with the ability to independently manage recruitment timelines, communications, and project tracking.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and relevant legislation.
  • Familiarity with various talent acquisition systems, including Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Willingness to engage and grow alongside AI technologies as part of recruitment innovation.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • At least four weeks of vacation annually plus personal and religious/cultural observance days.
  • Hybrid working model available for corporate employees.
  • Opportunities to work in different locations worldwide for up to one month per year through the 'Mejuri Passport' program.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and mental health benefits, generous personal and sick leave, including bereavement and miscarriage/stillbirth support.
  • Parental leave pay top-up up to 80%, including customized return-to-work plans.
  • Employee discount on products.

Compensation and Location

This role is based at 60 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and offers a salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
