Talent Acquisition Specialist (Non-IT Recruitment)

About the Role

We are hiring a driven HR Recruiter who can manage the full recruitment cycle for sales positions. This position involves partnering with regional leadership to meet hiring needs on time while keeping the quality of hiring strong. The role is based in Kolkata (Russel Street) and requires working from the office.

Responsibilities

• Work with regional leaders and other stakeholders to understand current and upcoming hiring needs.
• Find suitable candidates using several sourcing routes such as job portals, social media, and referrals.
• Review resumes and carry out initial phone screenings to check candidate fitment.
• Conduct interviews over phone, video, and in person as required.
• Share selected profiles with hiring managers and collect feedback promptly.
• Coordinate interview schedules with managers and directors.
• Keep candidates updated on interview outcomes and next steps.
• Create, revise, and maintain job postings, and coordinate with the creative team for recruitment creatives.
• Prepare offer letters and respond to candidate questions about salary and benefits.
• Maintain recruitment MIS reports and hiring trackers with accuracy.
• Assist with onboarding and help ensure new employees join smoothly.
• Plan ahead for future manpower needs and staffing requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in bulk sales hiring, ideally within BFSI or insurance recruitment.
• Freshers may also be considered if they have strong communication skills and want to build a career in HR recruitment.
• Strong ability to source candidates and assess profiles effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication, along with negotiation skills.
• Hands-on exposure to job portals and social media-based hiring.
• Ability to work independently, juggle multiple requirements, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.

This is a work-from-office position in Kolkata at Russel Street. The employer is Probus Insurance Broker, an InsurTech company with a pan-India presence and a strong portfolio across life and non-life insurance offerings.
