Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and career-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our expanding remote team, supporting operations primarily aligned with Pacific Time. The role involves managing full-cycle recruitment for a designated client group, collaborating closely with hiring managers to attract exceptional talent while upholding Telecon’s values and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interview schedules, and preparing offers.
- Serve as the primary contact for candidates across the U.S., addressing recruitment-related inquiries promptly.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and updates throughout the hiring process.
- Partner with hiring managers to articulate compelling value propositions to attract top-tier professionals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering recruitment insights and adapting swiftly to organizational needs.
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies identifying talent needs and sourcing candidates via multiple channels.
- Effectively use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job boards to streamline candidate sourcing.
- Proactively source both active and passive candidates leveraging diverse sourcing tools and professional networks.
- Maintain extensive networks including online recruiting resources to identify qualified talent.
- Conduct background verification processes for new hires within the United States.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 to 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally within construction, field operations, or skilled trades sectors.
- Knowledge of Washington State employment laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication and influencing capabilities enabling effective collaboration at all organizational levels.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills to innovate recruitment sourcing methods.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work setting.
- Demonstrated growth mindset, receptive to feedback, eager to learn, and driven to build and improve processes.
