Job description
Role Overview
This individual contributor position involves addressing challenging recruitment needs across various business functions within the organization. Key activities include building strong client relationships, managing significant hiring projects, and prioritizing critical talent acquisition tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops professional skills and builds productive relationships by proactively sharing resources, expertise, and advice with colleagues and clients; influences others through clear technical communication and examples; occasionally mentors team members; listens to and acts on feedback to improve performance; plans for personal growth by leveraging strengths and addressing weaknesses; anticipates and adapts to changing circumstances and challenges.
- Delivers assignments by utilizing current knowledge in the talent acquisition domain to craft innovative solutions; ensures compliance with all organizational policies and procedures; applies data insights and available resources to support projects; collaborates across functions to resolve business issues; manages priorities, deadlines, and expectations effectively; communicates progress clearly; recommends and implements process enhancements; escalates risks or issues as needed.
- Sources candidates by creating and executing targeted sourcing strategies for assigned job openings, including identifying companies and industries to approach; refines search methods based on results to attract passive candidates; reviews applications and resumes received through job postings; tracks candidate metrics to improve future sourcing efforts.
- Conducts candidate screening and selection by assessing applicant qualifications against minimum and preferred criteria; conducts interviews and pre-screening calls; verifies references; schedules and coordinates interviews with hiring managers to narrow candidate pools.
- Maintains and reports recruiting and hiring data by tracking records accurately; prepares and reviews recruitment reports for leadership or process evaluation.
- Partners with hiring managers by researching and advising on employment laws and regulations at the state and federal levels; addresses recruitment concerns and challenges; facilitates problem resolution; prepares internal audit documentation; ensures the applicant tracking system is current and accurate for all requisitions.
- Supports candidates throughout recruitment by acting as their primary contact; provides detailed information about the organization and recruitment procedures; ensures a positive candidate experience; effectively markets the job role, benefits, and company culture; negotiates compensation packages; prepares offer letters and agreements.
- Executes talent acquisition strategies by developing sourcing plans that comply with Equal Employment Opportunity objectives; implements action plans and recruitment goals; improves recruitment processes and systems; meets established service level agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience totaling at least three years as a recruiter or in a directly related role.
- Preferred experience includes at least two years recruiting within the health insurance sector and collaborating cross-functionally across departments or business lines.
Additional Details
- Location: Regional office in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Work schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Position classification: Individual contributor, non-union employee.
- Compensation range: Annual salary between $84,600 and $109,450, based on market data, internal alignment, and candidate qualifications.
- Work setting is flexible but onsite presence is expected; travel is not required.
