Job description

About the Company

Maersk Contract Logistics is building toward a larger ambition: becoming a leading global specialist in integrated logistics and delivering end-to-end solutions that simplify trade operations. The team works with modern technology and practical innovations to support a wide range of client needs in a fast-moving environment.

Why Join Us

The organization emphasizes ongoing learning, training, and growth. Its culture is shaped by continuous improvement and LEAN principles, with a strong focus on helping employees strengthen their capabilities and move forward in their careers.

About the Role

This position is central to supporting operations by ensuring frontline hiring happens efficiently and on time within Contract Logistics. The Talent Acquisition Associate / Specialist will work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to manage high-volume recruitment for a logistics setting. The role is based at Bulim Avenue, Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers and People Partners to turn workforce plans into practical hiring roadmaps and timelines.
  • Handle the full recruitment cycle for large-scale, blue-collar hiring needs.
  • Source candidates proactively through job portals, referrals, agencies, walk-in channels, and community engagement.
  • Carry out initial candidate screenings, including checks on physical suitability, shift availability, and overall role alignment.
  • Arrange and coordinate interviews while maintaining a positive candidate journey.
  • Draft and issue employment offers and collect pre-employment documents.
  • Monitor onboarding progress to reduce no-shows and drop-offs.
  • Maintain accurate records in recruitment systems and follow governance requirements.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and share hiring updates, patterns, and insights.
  • Support ongoing process improvement using LEAN methods.

Required Profile

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or has equivalent hands-on experience. A background of 2 to 3 years in recruitment is preferred, especially in high-volume or blue-collar hiring within Singapore. Experience in logistics or warehousing environments is an added advantage. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are important, along with careful attention to detail, solid execution ability, resilience, and comfort working in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in English and familiarity with recruitment systems are expected.

Equal Opportunity and Accessibility

Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and gives equal opportunity to all applicants regardless of protected characteristics. Support and reasonable adjustments are available during the application and hiring process for candidates who need assistance.
