Role overview

The team is seeking an organised and hands-on Talent Development Specialist to support People & Culture across Southeast Asia and Singapore. This role sits at the centre of learning operations, programme coordination and learner experience, ensuring smooth delivery, strong engagement and accurate reporting. You will work closely with the Talent Development Lead to deliver learning and leadership initiatives across the region.

The ideal person is proactive, highly organised and committed to precise execution. You should enjoy coordinating complex programmes, creating visually appealing learning materials, working with different stakeholders and using digital tools and AI to improve efficiency. A service mindset, curiosity and openness to feedback are important for success in this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for leadership and capability programmes across Southeast Asia, including scheduling, participant management, materials preparation, venue or virtual arrangements, and follow-up after sessions.
  • Administer the regional and Singapore learning management system, Marcel Classes, covering course setup, training records, enrolment tracking, compliance reporting including CSR, and overall system maintenance.
  • Plan and deliver Learning Day or Learning Week activities, global learning campaigns such as Le Train and Creative Train, and regional engagement events that promote learning.
  • Handle vendor coordination, contract administration, invoicing and budget tracking in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly dashboards and reports that track learning hours, spending, feedback and key performance indicators.
  • Write and send learner communications such as invitations, reminders, nudges and follow-up messages in a clear, engaging and brand-consistent style.
  • Assist the Talent Development Lead with programme design, branding and communications for learning and leadership projects.
  • Work with HR Leads, HR Business Partners and line managers on nominations, materials and deployment logistics.
  • For the Senior Specialist level, independently lead at least one regional initiative from start to finish, including coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support co-facilitation of selected programme modules as part of development.

Requirements

  • A diploma in any field plus 2 to 3 years of experience in learning and development, talent development, HR development or a similar coordination and operations role is required for the Specialist level; applicants with strong internship experience may also be considered if they are fresh graduates.
  • For the Senior Specialist level, candidates with 4 to 7 years of L&D or HR experience and a qualification in HR, Business, Communications, Education or a related discipline may be considered.
  • Prior exposure to L&D work in a multinational, multicultural, marketing, advertising or creative environment, or in a regional/multi-market setting, is an advantage.
  • Strong capability in presentation and design tools such as PowerPoint and Canva, with the ability to produce attractive learning assets, is needed.
  • Ability to work with MS Excel for data handling, analysis, dashboards and reporting is required.
  • Comfort using AI productivity tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT to improve workflow and content creation is important.
  • Experience with learning management systems is useful, and familiarity with Marcel Classes is a plus.
  • Strong written and spoken English is expected; knowledge of another Southeast Asian language such as Thai, Bahasa Indonesia or Vietnamese is an added advantage.
