Role Overview
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvements within the systems team and the wider distribution center (DC) operations by critically assessing existing systems and processes.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete deliveries from the distribution center to stores.
- Oversee and maintain product configurations within system layouts to preserve appropriate family groupings.
- Manage processes related to product recalls and withdrawals.
- Handle warehouse damages by working collaboratively with the operations team to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Assist operations teams in resolving inventory-related queries efficiently.
- Partner with operational teams to develop and execute strategies aimed at enhancing productivity.
- Lead projects to optimize pick paths within the Ambient United Regional Distribution Center (AURDC) in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate reports on slot utilization for Ambient products.
- This is a permanent, onsite position with a roster from Sunday to Wednesday, working from 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience working in significant supply chain environments.
- Familiarity with supply chain systems such as Blue Yonder and Warehouse Management Systems, understanding their application in warehouse operations.
- Ability to systematically and logically analyze and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly in generating reports and executing database queries using Access and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex settings, with the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and driven.
- Team-oriented attitude with readiness to contribute beyond own responsibilities as needed.
