Role Summary
The Systems Completion Coordinator will report directly to the Systems Completion Manager. The position entails managing the development and handover of system packages, ensuring data accuracy within the project's chosen Completions Management System, following the Completions Plan. A solid grasp of engineering schematics and completion procedures is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with project teams and clients to foster strong working relationships.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the project’s Completions Management System.
- Implement and adhere to the project’s Completions Plan.
- Coordinate completion workflows among Completions, Quality, Construction, Commissioning, and client teams.
- Confirm all Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning Completion Checklists are completed and formally approved within the database.
- Partner with the Systems Completion Manager to accurately define system packages aligned with current handover methods.
- Work alongside the Systems Completion Administrator to disseminate progress status reports throughout project phases.
- Maintain up-to-date Punchlist and Preservation records through cooperation with respective coordinators.
- Organize daily tasks in alignment with schedules, procedures, and available workflow areas.
- Interface with subcontractors in SMP, Electrical & Instrumentation, and Buildings disciplines to support all completion activities.
- Review coordination and interfaces with vendors and third-party entities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A degree or equivalent diploma in Engineering or Information Technology is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EPC projects fulfilling roles such as completions specialist, coordinator, or administrator.
- Demonstrated experience working in the Oil & Gas sector within completions functions.
- Familiarity with OPERCOM, ICAPS or similar large-scale Completions Management Systems is important.
- Ability to interpret critical engineering diagrams including P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams, Instrumentation & Control architecture, telecom block diagrams, and plot plans.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of construction, commissioning, and completion operations.
- Strong understanding of handover, walkdown, punchlisting, preservation, and maintenance procedures.
- Skilled at compiling system and handover packages.
- Effective communicator capable of discussing technical matters with both engineers and non-engineers.
- Proficient in MS Office (mandatory); knowledge of MS Access is advantageous.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written; additional language skills are a plus.
- Good presentation abilities for engaging construction teams and clients.
- Strong organizational aptitude and adaptability to the dynamic needs of multidisciplinary teams.
