Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Design and oversee a structured maintenance plan using systems similar to CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or PMS (Plant Maintenance System) to maintain schedules that reduce production interruptions.
- Support both routine and unexpected maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and tools within fabrication facilities.
- Coordinate maintenance operations with the Yard team and other relevant parties.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation challenges promptly to prevent downtime and inefficiency.
- Deploy reliability-centered maintenance strategies to enhance equipment uptime and minimize unscheduled breakdowns.
- Keep meticulous records of all maintenance actions, equipment histories, and prepare reports on performance and maintenance indicators.
- Experience or knowledge of predictive maintenance methods like vibration analysis and thermography is advantageous for early detection of equipment issues.
- Ensure that all machinery and equipment comply with safety standards and pertinent regulations from both international and local authorities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years within plant, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with CMMS or PMS software systems is highly preferred for efficient maintenance management.

Diploma / ITI / Vocational
