Swim Instructor - Focus on Babies and Toddlers

Overview

FitRepublik is seeking a devoted and certified Swim Instructor to join its Aquatics team full-time at its Dubai Sports City location. The role involves delivering engaging and secure swimming lessons tailored primarily for babies and toddlers, while also covering children and adult beginner swimmers. The ideal candidate must demonstrate enthusiasm for empowering swimmers of all ages to gain water confidence and essential swimming skills.

Primary Duties

• Conduct quality swimming sessions for babies (10 months to 3 years) and toddlers.
• Lead Learn to Swim classes for young children aged 3 to 8 years and adult beginners.
• Promote water safety, confidence, and swimming abilities through enjoyable, structured approaches.
• Create and maintain a positive, secure, and welcoming environment for learners and their families.
• Customize teaching techniques to suit varying age groups, capabilities, and learning preferences.
• Organize teaching materials and ensure poolside safety and cleanliness before classes.
• Accurately log attendance and session details.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, safeguarding policies, and incident reporting procedures.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Passionate about instructing babies, toddlers, and young children in swimming.

• Comfortable teaching both children and adult swim beginners.

• Dependable, self-motivated, and ready to work on weekends.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Certification in SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers or an equivalent internationally recognized credential.
• Demonstrated experience teaching babies (10 months-3 years), children (3-8 years), and adults in swim lessons.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding certifications are beneficial.
• Background in commercial swim schools or aquatic centers is highly favored.
