Job description

Overview

MECCA Brands is seeking a commercially minded Supply Planner to help maintain strong product availability across stores and distribution centres. In this role, you will work closely with Brand and Planning teams to improve stock movement, support trading performance, and contribute to the company’s ongoing expansion.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee stock movement from brand partners into the business, making sure inventory levels and service targets are met.
  • Build, update, and run supply plans that support product launches, promotions, and day-to-day availability.
  • Manage the purchase order process from creation through to changes, while coordinating with Finance on invoice matching and reconciliation.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to reduce supply risks, solve issues, and lift delivery-in-full results.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in supply processes, reporting, and tools.

What you’ll need

  • Background in supply planning, merchandise planning, or broader supply chain roles in retail or FMCG.
  • Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting data, spotting risks, and suggesting practical solutions.
  • Comfort working across teams such as Planning, Buying, Operations, Finance, and with outside suppliers.
  • Advanced Excel capability and familiarity with supply chain or merchandise systems.
  • A detail-oriented, self-driven approach with clear ownership and accountability.
