Role overview
MECCA Brands is seeking a motivated 2IC to support the leadership of its Cosmetica Takapuna store in New Zealand on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a chance to step up into a leadership role with Australia’s leading prestige beauty retailer and help drive a high-performing retail team.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Manager to guide the team in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Lead by example on the shop floor, supporting growth through training, coaching, and constructive feedback.
- Keep the team engaged and focused on achieving store KPIs while consistently reflecting the company’s values.
What success looks like
- Experience leading a large-format retail environment and the ability to inspire and educate sizable teams.
- A strong commitment to exceptional customer service and creating memorable MECCA-style moments.
- Background in coaching and mentoring, with a focus on developing team capability.
- A genuine people-first mindset and a consistent drive to improve the team member experience.
