About the Role

This opportunity involves leading strategic procurement initiatives within a dynamic supply chain environment for a U.S.-based partner company. The role requires managing intricate sourcing efforts, maintaining supplier relationships, and conducting negotiations that impact business expansion and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic sourcing approaches that align with business goals, including cost control, risk mitigation, and compliance adherence.
• Assist in shaping acquisition strategies through detailed evaluation of supplier options, negotiation methods, and procurement impacts.
• Manage complex RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluation processes, and end-to-end sourcing projects.
• Coordinate across functions to ensure procurement activities meet contractual, operational, and regulatory standards.
• Lead negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms, prices, and supplier agreements.
• Oversee supplier relationships, conduct capability assessments, resolve issues, and maintain supplier performance.
• Identify and reduce risks associated with cost, timing, supplier performance, compliance, and agreements.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure consistent application of policies and requirements.
• Advance sourcing processes by creating best practices, tools, and training materials.
• Provide support for enterprise-level negotiations and critical procurement projects as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent blend of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract negotiations, or related supply chain functions.
• Proven experience leading intricate RFP processes, supplier contract negotiations, and cross-department procurement initiatives.
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement strategies, supplier management, and negotiation techniques.
• Preferably experienced with negotiating terms for IT hardware, cloud services, SaaS, or professional services.
• Knowledgeable about procurement compliance, including FAR-compliant practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with aptitude in risk assessment and problem resolution.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and leadership.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and sourcing deadlines concurrently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and familiar with procurement, contract management, or source-to-pay platforms.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to security and regulatory requirements.
