Position Overview

The Supply Chain Coordinator role offers a unique chance for recent graduates to acquire practical experience and enhance their expertise in supply chain management within a global enterprise. This role entails collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager to oversee logistical and supply chain operations across manufacturing sites in Concord and Peterborough, Ontario. The position is primarily based in Concord with occasional travel to Peterborough, providing exposure to varied operational facets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily supply chain processes ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and monitoring of inventory.
  • Track inventory levels across internal and external locations, detect potential risks or discrepancies in reports or shipment documents relating to parts transported from the Peterborough to Concord plants.
  • Liaise with the Order Management team to update Sales orders for direct shipments.
  • Identify unique components from retired Bills of Materials for proper disposal of obsolete items.
  • Manage storage location setup for incoming transfer accessories.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics engineers and the Source Team Lead.
  • Contribute to special projects assigned by the Supply Chain Management lead or manager.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-secondary diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related disciplines.
  • Basic foundational knowledge gained via academic coursework or internships in data analysis, inventory control, demand forecasting, and supply chain operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and analytical functions.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ERP software such as SAP is considered beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities complemented by rigorous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills enabling effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Good organizational capabilities and time management to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
