Role Overview
We are seeking Summer Interns in Christchurch, commencing November 2026, to join our PwC Private team. You will collaborate with a broad range of clients, including family businesses, startups, and prominent New Zealand brands, helping them overcome challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
Your role will involve working closely with experienced business advisors, developing trusted client relationships, and gaining hands-on experience across compliance and advisory services. Tasks include financial analysis, improving business performance, growth initiatives, accounting, tax compliance, finance technology, and business transactions.
You'll also engage with data, automation, and AI-driven tools to enhance decision-making and streamline processes. Throughout the internship, you will hone your commercial acumen, digital skills, and relationship management capabilities, laying a strong foundation for your future career.

Candidate Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting (preference for CA pathway).
- Final year student or recent graduate.
- Committed to obtaining the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) designation.
- Strong academic record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and curiosity.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships and collaborate effectively.
- Well-developed organizational capabilities to handle multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership through employment, sports, volunteering, or extracurricular activities.
