Role overview
This position sits within the Strategy and Operations function for Ads and Commerce Marketing at Google. The role is focused on building and strengthening global growth marketing strategy across products supported by the B2B and B2C growth marketing organization. You will help turn strategic direction into practical business and operating plans, while also driving important cross-functional programs that support execution.
What you'll do
- Convert business priorities into product marketing plans, work with leaders to rank and shape initiatives, perform strategic analysis, improve business performance, and support delivery.
- Work with marketing and product leadership to put recommendations into action and identify the teams and Googlers needed to execute the strategy.
- Own the annual planning cycle and OKR process, collaborating with senior leadership to define and communicate priorities that create business impact.
- Manage budget and resource planning, ensuring investment decisions are aligned with strategic goals throughout the annual planning process.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, marketing strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity; or 4 years of experience plus an advanced degree.
- 3 years of experience working with executive-level stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience building business strategies or leading cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications
- MBA or a master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Background in analytical problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and presenting insights to senior leaders.
- Strong ability to collaborate across functions, build relationships, and influence executives.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and leading strategic work in a fast-moving environment.
- Demonstrated success in scaling B2B or B2C growth marketing within a large organization.
Compensation and benefits
The stated compensation range for the US is $141,000 to $206,000 per year, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Final pay is influenced by role-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
