Strategist - Public Sector AI Solutions, Qatar

About the Role

Join Scale AI's rapidly expanding Global Public Sector team, which focuses on developing AI solutions to tackle pressing challenges faced by public sector entities worldwide. The team’s core missions include creating bespoke AI applications affecting millions of citizens and government staff, producing high-quality training datasets for custom large language models (LLMs), and providing AI advisory and upskilling services to broaden AI’s impact.

As a Strategist based in Qatar, you will lead growth efforts for the Global Public Sector unit by collaborating with technical partners to identify and secure significant public sector opportunities. This position requires crafting and implementing go-to-market approaches for acquiring customers within a complex and ever-changing environment, ultimately making strategic decisions that drive impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Scale Leadership, Head of EMEA, Engagement Management, Account Executives, and the EMEA Strategy team to define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) plan for Qatar.
• Partner with potential clients to identify meaningful AI-driven solutions, shaping and framing their overarching AI vision.
• Communicate clearly the benefits and impact of each AI initiative.
• Navigate complex organizational structures to develop relationships, address client inquiries, and advance opportunities from identification through to deal closure.
• Establish trust and serve as a dependable AI consultant beyond project delivery.
• Manage customer communication and relationship development effectively.
• Provide thought leadership on AI trends and analysis.
• Engage in financial modeling and maintain commercial acumen to support deal-making.
• Create compelling pitch decks and proposals tailored to client needs.
• Design and conduct AI-focused workshops.
• Develop demonstrations of potential AI solutions utilizing platforms like Replit or Lovable.
• Measure and communicate the value and impact generated by AI applications.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or consulting roles within the public sector.
• Proven history in selling AI products or services.
• Experience personally managing and closing complex deals valued between $500,000 and $5 million+ in public sector contexts.
• Skilled in constructing GTM strategies to enable scalable growth.
• Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders to identify challenges and design AI solutions.
• A strong passion for the role with creative thinking and a willingness to approach problems innovatively.
• Demonstrated capacity to build robust consultative partnerships internally and externally at all organizational levels.
• Experience developing and articulating executive-level presentations and materials.
• Fluency in Arabic (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
