Overview
Join the Global Logistics and Support Services (GLASS) team at Serco supporting the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. In this role, you will handle significant and complex projects assisting the US Army, leveraging your strategic planning expertise in a high-visibility environment. Key Responsibilities
- Support ASC operations at TS/SCI security level events with situational awareness and planning aid.
- Help prepare staff estimates, evaluate courses of action, and develop operational and warning orders linked to Combatant Commanders and Army headquarters directives.
- Analyze and review ASC's mission and role within the Army framework, facilitating mid- and long-term planning and action plan implementation.
- Develop comprehensive sustainment concepts at high command levels (3- and 4-star), translate them into executable plans, and prepare mobilization data to ensure readiness of sustainment resources.
- Collaborate with Army Field Support Brigades on regional and global contingency and sustainment plans.
- Assist in briefing preparation, special studies, and maintenance of operational plan files accessible to ASC.
- Monitor evolving requirements, conduct gap analyses for operational plans, and may travel up to 10% to conduct site surveys or address emerging mission needs.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active DoD Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance and be a US citizen.
- Education and experience requirements: Bachelor's degree with 10 years, Associate degree with 12 years, or High School Diploma with 14 years of relevant experience supporting Joint, U.S. Army, or related component headquarters.
- Preferred but not required: Graduation from School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or Joint Informational Operational Planners Course (JIPOC).
- Recommended completion of military Intermediate Level Education (MEL4), Support Operations Course (Phase 2), with deployment/combat logistics experience in support operations.
- Functional knowledge of Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) and broad understanding of Army sustainment enterprise relationships with other defense commands.
- Experience operating at one-star or higher command levels is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint at an intermediate level required.

- Work location is in Germany; position supports both CONUS and OCONUS operations.
- Up to 10% travel may be necessary.
