Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and proactive Strategic Partnerships Executive to join our growing global Partnerships team based in Dubai. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their partnerships or sales careers to gain comprehensive exposure to the entire sales cycle within a fast-paced fintech company. The focus of this role is to identify and qualify potential partners, engage key stakeholders, and arrange qualified meetings for the Strategic Partnerships Manager and Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to advance relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and assess potential partners using target lists provided by senior team members to determine alignment with Sokin's ideal partner criteria
- Identify and map relevant decision-makers and influencers within target companies, including roles in treasury, finance, payments, and commercial leadership
- Initiate proactive outreach strategies through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events to generate partner engagement
- Evaluate partner interest and requirements prior to scheduling meetings
- Arrange and coordinate qualified meetings for senior partnership managers, including providing support with preparatory research and briefing materials
- Maintain involvement throughout the sales process by assisting with follow-ups, liaison activities, and administrative support to drive deal progression
- Keep detailed and current records of outreach activities, qualification stages, and meetings within the CRM system
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the GCC payments ecosystem, including fintechs, banks, financial institutions, e-commerce, marketplaces, travel, and logistics sectors
- Develop foundational expertise in cross-border payments and foreign exchange to enable meaningful early-stage partner interactions
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales development, or partnerships, preferably within financial services, payments, or e-commerce sectors
- Confident and effective communicator skilled at outbound outreach and relationship management
- Highly organised, capable of managing a significant volume of outreach and qualification tasks efficiently
- Results-driven with a focus on meeting qualification and outreach targets
- Strong genuine interest in fintech, payments, and the GCC regional market
- Experience working in a high-growth fintech or startup setting is a desirable advantage
- Adaptable and flexible to thrive in a dynamic, growing global startup environment
