Infisical offers an open source security infrastructure platform designed to help engineers manage secrets, certificates, and privileged access. Our platform safeguards billions of secrets monthly, including application configurations, database credentials, and certificates. We are backed by $19 million in funding from Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, with clients including Hugging Face, Lucid, and LG.
Role Overview
This position is focused on establishing and strengthening the financial base to support Infisical's growth trajectory. It merges strategic financial insight with operational leadership, offering exposure to all business dimensions such as sales, recruitment, capital raising, and long-term strategic planning.
You will manage the entire finance function, delivering precise reporting, forecasting, and operational excellence. As an early member of the finance team, you will create foundational processes in collaboration with the founders to support scalable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial tasks including accounts payable and receivable, vendor relations, reimbursements, and payment processes.
- Lead monthly financial closings, revenue accounting, reporting, and confirm the accuracy of financial records.
- Handle tax compliance and financial procedures across various regions.
- Develop financial forecasts, cash flow models, runway analysis, staffing forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Collaborate with senior management on fundraisings, investor communications, due diligence, and board presentations.
- Enhance financial workflows, policies, and tools to optimize operational efficiency during scaling.
- Oversee insurance renewals and other activities ensuring business continuity.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in investment banking, strategic finance, FP&A, corporate or startup finance, preferably with experience in high-growth B2B SaaS firms.
- Proficient knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Proven hands-on experience with finance operations such as month-end close, revenue recognition, and managing payables and receivables.
- Capacity to independently create financial models and distill complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong initiative with an ability to work independently and establish processes in a fast-paced startup setting.
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with strategic business thinking.
- Must be located in the United States or Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assisting venture-backed startups with fundraising, investor reporting, and board materials.
- Familiarity with legal operations, including managing contracts, NDAs, DPAs, contract repositories, and coordination with external legal counsel.
