Job Overview
Join Wilmar Sugar & Renewables as a Storeperson based at Plane Creek Mill in Sarina, North Queensland. This permanent, full-time role involves managing inventory and ensuring effective stock control to support smooth site operations. The position operates year-round on a day shift roster with occasional weekend shifts and overtime requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue stock items accurately following established systems and assist colleagues at the service counter.
- Conduct regular stocktaking, keep precise inventory records, report stock shortages, and guarantee availability of maintenance spare parts and equipment.
- Manage the loading and unloading of shipments, processing all incoming and outgoing deliveries efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in storage areas and handle hazardous materials according to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) standards to ensure safety.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have prior warehouse experience, be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and familiar with SAP or comparable warehouse management software. Holding a Forklift High Risk Work Licence is advantageous.
