About the Role
Wilmar Sugar and Renewables invites applications for the role of Stores Coordinator, positioned in Mackay, Queensland. This permanent, year-round day shift role involves managing the stores team, ensuring safety and compliance, and optimizing inventory management processes. The position occasionally requires weekend shifts and overtime to support smooth site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively lead and manage a small stores team to meet objectives connected to safety, quality, and customer service.
- Participate in recruiting, developing, and assessing the performance of store personnel.
- Oversee and coordinate data entry and processing tasks to maintain inventory records with high accuracy.
- Enhance and sustain systems related to stocktaking, logistics, and order handling to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify operational challenges that impact stores performance and provide practical support to resolve these issues.
Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate should possess at least four years of warehousing experience along with familiarity with SAP. They must demonstrate the ability to work independently, strong skills in inventory control, attention to detail, and solid communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly for data management and reporting, is highly advantageous.
