Job Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Properly store items in assigned locations following accurate storage methods and inventory procedures.
- Distribute materials to respective departments upon approved requests with the necessary documentation.
- Keep precise inventory records by promptly updating the system to reflect stock movements.
- Monitor inventory levels to identify shortages, surplus stock, damaged items, or discrepancies and report accordingly.
- Conduct periodic stocktaking and assist in inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Ensure correct labeling, organization, and identification of all inventory items.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the storage area.
- Track expiration dates and conditions of stock items when applicable.
- Prepare detailed stock reports, inventory summaries, and documentation of stock movements.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, Finance, and operational teams regarding inventory-related issues.
- Document and secure approvals for all stock transactions thoroughly.
- Adhere to company policies, inventory control standards, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related area.
- Possess 2 to 5 years of practical experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or inventory control.
- Have a solid understanding of inventory management concepts and stock control processes.
- Experience using inventory management software is required.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and familiar with generating reports.
- English fluency is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
