About the Role
This is a prominent leadership opportunity to manage one of New Zealand's most prestigious retail operations at Mitre 10 MEGA Albany, located in Auckland. This role involves running a multi-million-dollar business with responsibility for commercial strategy, team culture, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a broad leadership team across multiple departments to consistently deliver superior results.
- Develop and implement commercial and operational strategies aimed at driving growth and profitability.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence in customer service, workplace safety, merchandising, and employee engagement.
- Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency by overseeing inventory, personnel management, financial control, and compliance requirements.
- Foster innovation through continuous improvement initiatives, developing partnerships, and engaging with the local community.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive senior leadership experience in retail, particularly within large-scale, high-volume store environments.
- Proven success in achieving strong financial results through commercial acumen and operational rigor.
- Outstanding leadership skills in managing, motivating, and developing large and diverse teams.
- Expertise in merchandise planning, stock management, forecasting, and health and safety protocols.
- Well-versed in New Zealand's retail market, employment legislation, and customer behavior trends.
- A proactive growth-oriented mindset capable of balancing strategic foresight with practical leadership.
