The business focuses on creating engaging shopping experiences for customers while also supporting sustainability and community-minded initiatives.
About the role
This full-time stockroom position is based in Taupō, New Zealand, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm. The role suits someone dependable, well-organised, and comfortable keeping stock movement accurate, efficient, and safe in a busy warehouse setting.
Key duties
- Accept deliveries, unload stock, and process inbound goods accurately.
- Place products in the correct storage areas using suitable stock handling methods.
- Carry out stock checks and keep inventory records up to date.
- Pick and pack customer orders carefully and accurately.
- Manage stock rotation using first-in, first-out methods to protect product quality.
- Keep the stockroom tidy, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Help locate items and support internal stock requests from other departments.
- Use warehouse tools and equipment safely, including pallet jacks and other handling equipment where trained.
- Escalate stock issues, damaged items, and safety risks to management without delay.
- Work closely with teammates to hit daily goals and deadlines.
What we are looking for
Applicants should bring strong organisation, good time management, and a high level of accuracy. Experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is preferred but not essential. The role requires the ability to work independently and cooperatively, along with the physical capability to lift, carry, and move stock regularly. A practical understanding of health and safety, basic numeracy for stock counts, and clear communication skills are important. Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse software is an advantage, and forklift or other warehouse equipment certification is also desirable.
Additional information
Benefits include a Team Card with discounts across the company’s brands, one day of paid birthday leave each year, one day of paid leave annually for community or goodwill activities, and opportunities for internal career progression. Other perks may also be available.
