About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to be the inaugural integrated resort in the UAE, scheduled to open in 2027. Located in Ras Al Khaimah, approximately 80 kilometers from Dubai International Airport, the resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 dining venues including restaurants, lounges, and bars, alongside amenities such as a theatre, beach club, multiple swimming pools, a five-star spa, salon, shopping promenade, and an events center.
Position Overview
We are recruiting a Steward for Wynn Oasis to join the Kitchen Stewards division. This role is critical to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards essential for smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Appropriately clean and store crockery, pots, and glassware.
- Sanitize kitchen tools and workstations including ovens, stovetops, floors, and ceilings.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and accurately.
- Dispose of kitchen waste responsibly.
- Complete tasks assigned by Steward Team Leader and Supervisor.
- Maintain professional and positive interactions with colleagues, management, and contractors.
- Participate in departmental meetings and communicate relevant updates.
- Promote teamwork, cultural diversity, and effective communication.
- Comply with company policies, Code of Conduct, and uphold hygiene and grooming standards consistently.
- Observe health and safety directives to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Engage in recycling efforts and uphold discipline to minimize waste.
Candidate Profile
- Educational qualification: at least secondary school completion; higher education is a plus.
- No mandatory prior experience; however, at least one year in a 5-star hotel or integrated resort environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Exemplary work ethic and positive demeanor.
- Physically able to undertake tasks involving high reach, heavy equipment handling, and lifting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts aligned with business demands.
- English fluency required; additional language skills are advantageous.
