Job description
Role Overview
We invite committed physiotherapists to join our supportive musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatient teams across Christchurch, Bournemouth, and Poole Hospitals. This opportunity allows you to specialise early in your career in MSK outpatients and orthopaedics within a highly respected NHS service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on managing musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions to patients, their carers, and fellow healthcare professionals.
- Operate autonomously without direct supervision while supporting and training peers, technical instructors, physiotherapy assistants, and students.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality clinical care to patients within your care and mentor junior staff to maintain these standards.
Employment Details
This is a fixed-term contract for 9 months, with potential to be arranged as a secondment lasting the same duration upon agreement. The base locations include Poole, Bournemouth, and/or Christchurch Hospitals.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must hold HCPC Registration and self-motivate to apply their post-registration experience and expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy; this role is unsuitable for applicants lacking post-registration experience.
