Role Overview

The Staff Marketing Analyst reports to the Senior Analytics Manager and plays a key role in shaping marketing strategy through data-driven insights. Responsibilities include partnering with leadership on budget and channel strategies, owning performance analytics, and advancing measurement frameworks for marketing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with marketing executives to design budget allocations, channel distribution, and long-term strategies, owning the data-driven narrative entirely.
  • Manage comprehensive performance analytics across all marketing channels, serving as the expert to translate complex metrics into actionable growth plans.
  • Be the marketing measurement authority by creating and refining frameworks for marketing mix modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution (MTA), attribution, and incrementality testing to solve challenging channel performance problems.
  • Develop and lead a trusted marketing analytics system with dashboards and KPIs that unify data on marketing results, growth, and efficiency.
  • Enhance the marketing data foundation by ensuring data pipelines, models, and definitions are robust, scalable, and support high-velocity decision-making, collaborating with Analytics Engineering.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and prominent leader, influencing executive decisions and exemplifying data-driven excellence across the company.
  • Improve the marketing team’s analytical skills by setting rigorous standards for experimentation, documentation, and data storytelling.

Candidate Profile

  • Over eight years of experience in marketing or growth analytics, demonstrating deep expertise and a history of shaping senior-level marketing strategies.
  • Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and the drive to address complex marketing challenges within regulated industries.
  • In-depth understanding of channel performance across Paid, Lifecycle, Direct Mail, and Partnership marketing, recognizing how these channels synergize to fuel growth.
  • Expertise in marketing measurement techniques, including attribution models, incrementality tests, funnel analysis, and ROI calculations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience utilizing Python or R for advanced analyses, modeling, or experimentation support.
  • Commitment to data integrity, with experience in enhancing data quality, definitions, and analytic infrastructure.
  • Skillful in simplifying complex analytical findings into clear, practical insights and confidently influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Passionate about empowering colleagues through intuitive dashboards, thorough documentation, and training to foster self-sufficient analytics use.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in the financial services sector.
  • Experience collaborating with senior marketing leaders on annual planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience working closely with data platform teams to refine marketing data models and tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms and ecosystems such as ESPs and CDPs.

Work Location

This position is based within the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range between $164,000 and $205,000 per year USD.
