Job Overview

The Utility Cleaner plays a critical supportive role across various essential hotel departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry at our Dubai Marina location. These associates ensure the availability of clean linen and spotless dining ware, operate and maintain cleaning equipment, and transport dishware or linens throughout the hotel to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment like dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, and laundry washers and dryers.
• Assist in transporting dishware and linens between different hotel areas as needed.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain professional appearance, communication, and uphold quality standards consistently.
• Collaborate with peers and departments to achieve shared goals.
• Report any unsafe conditions, injuries, or accidents promptly to management.
• Perform tasks requiring physical effort such as moving, lifting, pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
• Remain active throughout the shift by standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods and performing motions including reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Carry out additional job-related duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• There is no requirement for a high school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience is necessary.
• No licenses or certifications are required for this role.
