Job Summary

Logicbroker seeks a reliable and detail-focused Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This position is ideal for an entry-level accounting professional looking to advance their career in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. The role involves providing vital support to the finance department and assisting global operations. Candidates should be motivated to learn, develop their skills, and work collaboratively within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily reviews of transactions to ensure expenses are correctly categorized.
Manage accounts payable duties including processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports with accurate coding and authorization.
Handle invoicing and collections, including interacting with customers and setting up new customer accounts.
Assist with month-end closing tasks such as preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
Calculate monthly bonuses and commissions along with preparing associated reports.
Ensure data accuracy by identifying and correcting errors.
Work collaboratively with various business units to promptly resolve outstanding queries.
Provide occasional assistance to the accounting and finance teams as needed.
Focus on streamlining system efficiencies and improving business processes.

Qualifications and Skills

One to two years of general accounting experience, including internships.
Capable of retrieving and analyzing financial data and reports generated by computer systems.
Strong written communication skills to produce clear and professional business correspondence.
Ability to meet deadlines with the readiness to escalate urgent matters.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
Familiarity with Zoho, QuickBooks, or HubSpot software is advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 per year for remote employees based in the United States.
