  • Review expense reports thoroughly to confirm reimbursements and per diems are accurate.
  • Prepare and import CSV files encompassing bank, credit card, and advertising transactions.
  • Utilize Excel reports to monitor expenditures across categories such as Subscriptions, Recruiting, Executive costs, and Travel.
  • Conduct daily bank matching tasks including return payment journal entries, test payments, and reconciliation.
  • Oversee bill approval workflows to ensure every expense has proper authorization and documentation.
  • Perform weekly reviews of Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets to identify and amend errors promptly.

Impact Areas

  • Produce error-free financial reports trusted by leadership.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities, including intercompany billing related to executive compensation and shared services.
  • Reconcile accounts and post necessary adjusting entries to maintain clean books.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP standards in all financial processes under your scope.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance financial operations.
  • Support audit activities by providing accurate data and timely accounting adjustments.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience in accounting roles, preferably managing high transaction volumes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance requirements, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience using NetSuite is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with effective communication skills.
