Role Responsibilities & Skills
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role requires substantial experience in ensuring system availability, performance, and scalability. This role entails working with Linux environments, scripting, and leveraging tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Observability is key, with responsibilities involving metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and dashboard management. The candidate will also handle integrations with enterprise monitoring, SIEM tools, and Incident Response frameworks. Further duties include creating and enforcing runbooks, operational protocols, escalation workflows, and supporting production environments.
