About the Role
The Spoken English Trainer position focuses on delivering structured training under the UNXT program, aimed at enhancing employability skills, primarily for final-year students. The role involves skill development, assessment facilitation, and providing job placement support across designated districts or nearby colleges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 90 hours of training, either 3 hours daily over 30 days or 2 hours daily for 45 days, adhering strictly to the prescribed curriculum.
- Mentor and support students to ensure successful completion of the program.
- Identify and onboard colleges within assigned areas and coordinate with their authorities to guarantee smooth program execution and timely batch completion.
- Organize valedictory events involving relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure complete student enrollment on necessary platforms and manage accurate data including educational background, job preferences, and relocation willingness.
- Track student progress regularly and encourage usage of LMS and self-learning applications.
- Oversee assessments completion, certification programs, and strive for improved learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with placement teams to facilitate job opportunities, support campus placement drives, job fairs, and employer engagement events.
- Motivate and inspire student involvement through training, career apps, social media, and confidence-building exercises focused on communication and workplace preparedness.
- Manage alumni engagement by onboarding students to alumni networks and providing ongoing career support and guidance.
- Maintain meticulous documentation including attendance, assessments, certifications, reports, and ensure compliance with batch closure requirements.
- Build and sustain professional relations with colleges and student bodies, representing the organization positively.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Open to both freshers and experienced candidates.
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Ability to conduct training and facilitate learning effectively.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills suitable for engaging effectively with students and stakeholders.
- Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office, apps, and social media platforms.
Additional Conditions
- Willing to undertake local travel within assigned districts.
- Participation in mandatory initial training in Bangalore provided, including travel and accommodation support along with stipend.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly stipend ranging from INR 17,000 to INR 20,000.
